Tuak is made by cutting the undeveloped flower of either the coconut or the sugar palm tree. Then collect the sugary liquid that exudes into a bamboo container and ferment it. |

Arak is distilled Tuak or could be made by rice. It could be selled in labelled bottle or non. It has a much higher alcoholic content and is colourless. It has a little bit bitter taste. Arak is used in almost all ceremonies.
Please do not drink Arak if you not sure for it safety. A bad Arak Could be contaminated by methanol, and the effects of drinking methanol could be fatal. |
