The traditional music of Bali is Gamelan. A Gamelan orchestra a wide array of instruments. Some of the instruments included in a Gamelan orchestra are bamboo flutes, Gender, Kempli, Reyong, Kendang, gongs and many other typical balinese instruments.
The Bali-Hindu religion requires the Gamelan to perform at rituals or ceremonies at the temples as a worship to the god. The music is full of insistent rhythms and elegant patterns. There is hardly any improvisation.
Gamelan in Bali could be made by metal (bronze) or wooden (bamboo) which just have they own exciting sounds.
