Pura Ulun Danu Bratan:This Hindu-Buddhist temple sits on the edge of Lake Bratan Bali's second largest lake with a backdrop of Gunung Catur. It was founded in the 17th century and is dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of water in Balinese Hinduism, ceremonies are held here to ensure that there is a supply of water for farmers all over Bali. On entering you pass through beautiful gardens with a number of whimsical animal statues that are sure to be a hit with children of all ages.
