Odalan is a Hindu ceremony in Bali to celebrate the anniversary of a temple. The anniversary is usually calculated based on the Balinese calendar that fall once every 6 months or within 210 days. Odalan is one of the form to worship god for it bless and to ensure the harmonious relationship between human and god and human with their environment.
Before an Odalan, Balinese are busy preparing the various types of offerings and decorating the temple. Odalan consists of worship offerings that could be fruits, Balinese cakes, flowers, and money. Praying in the temple are mainly activity to done. There are also traditional music and dance performance held in the temple field.
