Kuningan day is believe the day when the ancestors return to heaven after visiting the earth during Galungan festival. It is represents the final day of Galungan festival.During Kuningan day Balinese make special offerings to be given to the ancestors on their farewell day. The offerings include yellowed rice (Nasi Kuning) made by white rice with Turmeric and decorated in a small bowl made of banana leaves and the ceremony should be finished before noonday, before gods and goddess return to the heavens.
